And our adventure begins…

December 29, 2024, we closed the door of our house for the last time! It was bittersweet leaving this time. We have made many wonderful memories with our children and grandchildren, watching them swim, play football, play in the incredible tree house Tim built, play games, and share lots of stories and laughs around the dinner tables! We have been so fortunate to have them all home at the same time 4-5 times a year for the past 8 years! This home was perfect for entertaining family and friends!

We are staying at Sean and Ashley’s until January 3. Then we will become nomads for the next year or so. We sold the house, our truck, our car, and some of our furniture. We put what was left in the storage and today I will start loading our essentials and clothing in our house on wheels. With limited space, it won’t take very long because we can’t take very much! We have learned over the past 14 months what we actually use and what will fit in the storage cabinets.

So, on January 3 we hit the road headed to Tupelo for a couple of days then turning west with stops here and there to our first destination of Quartzsite, AZ.

We are so excited and hope to see some of our family and friends along the way!
